WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MOVIE AND WHY?
The Matrix! Of course, I enjoy the full series, but the first one really defines the concept of a misperceived reality. The concept is philosophical with some connections to René Descartes’ famously translated quote of, “I think, therefore I am.” The premise isn’t necessarily if thought is occurring but if we are living in the perceived reality. Ignorance is bliss, but I wouldn’t want to live ignorantly without trying to obtain more understanding.

WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE FAMOUS FOR?
I, like Ron Swanson, enjoy exquisite and excellent pieces of timber. The best form, in my opinion, are those pieces refined into bow ties. I would like to be known for wearing the best wooden bow ties this side of the Mississippi.

WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT?
My favorite place to eat is in everyone’s neighborhood – Applebee’s! I only eat here for specific items and at specific times. The late-night half price apps are the way to go. Sadly, the once cherished potato twisters were discontinued which narrows down my ordering to the prized beer-pub pretzels and original boneless wings.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY?
My favorite outdoor activity is whatever my wife, Katherine, plans for us! Sometimes this could mean a camping trip in subfreezing temperatures at Cheyenne Mountain State Park or completing a 7K bright and early on Saint Patrick’s Day. I usually enjoy the outdoor activities that begin after 9AM in temperate weather; however, it’s nice to want things.
