WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
Edmonton Alberta Canada. It is the northern most large city in America known as the gateway to the North (highway to Alaska) but I call it the Big North!

WHAT INSPIRES YOU TO DO THE WORK YOU DO?
Seeing the positive reaction of clients, patrons / end-users / owners & staff to their new AV system. Recently, I was very fortunate to sit in the audience (incognito) during a first run musical in a new Oahu performance theatre which my team had designed. During the intermission, I heard that people were noticeably pleased with the sound reinforcement systems performance, and it confirmed to me that hard work for the better part of four years had resulted in something that others could appreciate and value. These are the events and experiences that help me get up in the morning.

WHAT’S THE BEST PLACE YOU HAVE EVER VISITED?
Mexico: Cancun and Cabo (So far) & Chichen Itza. People often think our 21st-century technology is superior to cultures of the past, but there is a sonic experience at that site that was a surprise. 

IF YOU HAD TO WATCH ONE SPORT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
Giant Slalom Skiing: it is competition, excitement & courage at a different human level. 

WHAT DO YOU DO TO RELIEVE STRESS?
Laugh! Music at high volumes, Road trips, Yardwork, Flyfishing, Cooking / Grilling, & of course Winemaking

YOU’RE THE STAR OF GROUNDHOG DAY, BUT YOU GET TO CHOOSE A DAY  OUT OF YOUR LIFE TO RELIVE. WHAT’S YOUR DAY LIKE? 
It was one of my 1st rock concerts, Van Halen, and I was taken in by the stunning performance with an excellent sound system.  The ambient human energy at that concert experience was electrifying. After that event, I wanted to be a FOH engineer! 

IF YOU WERE A SUPERHERO, WHAT WOULD YOUR POWER BE AND WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH IT? 
The ability to spread kindness and to gain / share some level of understanding with people and friends that have very different ideas than my own.
