WHERE ARE YOU FROM?
My hometown is Murray, Nebraska. Murray is a very small town of only 500 people. It may be small, but it has a couple of beautiful lakes nearby and the best sunsets I’ve ever seen!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO VISIT
My favorite place I’ve visited is Olympic National Park. I love the climate there, and there is so much rain that there are temperate rain forests in the park! The Hoh rainforest in Olympic National Park contains one of the quietest places in the United States. I have gone camping along the coastline of the park, and I love its hiking trails, waterfalls, and lakes.

WHAT WOULD YOUR DREAM VACATION BE?
My dream vacation would be a trip around Italy! This ideal vacation would last a couple weeks over the summer, so I could take my time exploring in the nice weather. There are so many things I would love to experience in Italy: the food, the coast, the mountains, and the architecture. In my dream vacation, I would get to see all those things by exploring the cities, towns, and nature across the country.

IF YOU HAD TO WATCH ONE SPORT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?
If I had to watch one sport for the rest of my life, it would be dance. Although it’s not a traditional sport, it holds a special value in my life. I danced from 2 years old until I went to college, and it will never grow old for me. I even won four state dance championships with my high school team! I could watch dance for the rest of my life because it’s always different and it’s never boring. Dance combines a sport with music and art, which makes it so unique and exciting to watch.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT?
I love to try new places to eat! I’m always open to trying new foods or ordering something different off the menu. My favorite places to eat are typically Italian or sushi restaurants. I also love breakfast food and coffee at all times of the day, so cafés are also a favorite of mine.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY?
I love hiking, camping, kayaking, biking, gardening, and running! If I had to choose a perfect activity, it would have to be a camping trip with lots of hiking during the day. I grew up in the country, so I’ve spent my whole life outside with nature and animals. I also spent years working in a floral shop and taking care of my family garden, which has given me a passion for growing and caring for plants and flowers! I love the peace and quiet of the outdoors, and long distance runs and hikes are activities that let me escape from everything for a little while!
