WHERE IS YOUR HOMETOWN?
I am from Austin, Texas which happens to be the live music capital of the world and foodie’s paradise. We have Austin City Limits Music Festival, Blues on the Greens, SXSW, and food trucks galore! I lived on Lake Travis, which is a big lake West of Austin and a fun place to cool down in the Texas heat.

WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO VISIT?
Rocky Mountain National Park, it’s my favorite place on earth. It’s amazing to me how the park can basically be in different seasons depending on where you are. There are so many different trails so that you never have to repeat a hike.

WHAT DO YOU DO TO RELIEVE STRESS?
A couple of years ago, I started kickboxing and Muay Thai as a new way to work out, but it quickly became the thing that I did whenever I became stressed or anxious since it also teaches you how to change your mindset. Other times, I go on hikes and let the sound of nature calm me down.

WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO EAT?
I love sushi, it’s pretty much one of the only foods I ever crave. My favorite “everyday” place is near my home in Austin since they give us such big slices of fish. For more special occasions, my favorite place is Uchi which started in Austin, but I thought was fortuitous that AE Design designed the lighting at their Denver location.

WHAT’S SOMETHING PEOPLE WOULDN’T GUESS ABOUT YOU?
I am REALLY into Lego, whenever I get a catalog, I have to comb through it to see if there are any sets that are bigger than the ones I have done. One day, I hope to have a room in my house dedicated to only Lego.

WHAT’S THE BEST PLACE YOU HAVE EVER VISITED?
The coolest experience I had visiting a place was in Austria. First, the scenery and hikes are beautiful, but the coolest part about it was that the Austrians have an annual tradition of setting tires on fire in the mountain in the shape of a heart.

WHAT WOULD YOUR DREAM VACATION BE?
One of my bucket list goals is to visit all 7 continents. I have been to 2 so far, so I have had quite a few dream vacations. My top 3 trips right now would be to make my way down through South America, then go on a boat from the southern tip of Argentina to Antarctica, explore Australia and New Zealand, and make my way through Southeast Asia.
