WHERE DID YOU GROW UP?
I grew up in a small town called Louisburg, Kansas with a population of about 4,000 people. After I graduated high school, I moved out to Omaha, NE to get my degree in AE, and then took internships in both Chicago and LA. It is clear now that I have become a city person since living in Louisburg.

WHAT’S SOMETHING PEOPLE WOULDN’T GUESS ABOUT YOU?
Something that people wouldn’t typically guess about me is that I grew up on a farm. My parents had several horses, dogs, and cats throughout my life, which definitely contributed to my love for animals to this day.

WHAT BOOKS ARE ON YOUR NIGHTSTAND?
Though I haven’t had much time to read for fun over the course of my college career, now that I am out of school, I have had the chance to catch up on some light reading. That said, here is a list of books I have on my nightstand: Astrophysics for People in a Hurry by Neil deGrasse Tyson, Becoming by Michelle Obama, Dear Ijeawele, or a Feminist Manifesto in Fifteen Suggestions by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and 1984 by George Orwell to name a few.

WHO IS THE BEST BAND AND TO SEE LIVE?
My favorite band at the moment is Hippo Campus, though that is subject to frequent change. However, my favorite band that I’ve seen in concert is Jungle! I am not super picky about music, though my favorite bands are typically in the genre of alternative/indie rock.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?
In my spare time, I love to cook, go on road trips, discover new musical artists, go to concerts, visit museums, and find all the hole-in-the-wall places that make a city great. Out of all of these, cooking is definitely the most prevalent hobby of mine, since it is so easy to find yourself immersed in a new culture through a recipe. I try to cook something new as often as possible and expand on my cooking skills since I am self-taught.
