WHERE IS YOUR HOMETOWN?

I consider Arizona my hometown. It gets so hot in Arizona, that if you place some cookie dough on a baking sheet on your dash while getting groceries, you will come out to fresh baked cookies. This was always my kids favorite experiment to do in the summer.

WHAT’S SOMETHING PEOPLE WOULDN’T GUESS ABOUT YOU?

I used to be a prison nurse! I worked all security levels of the prison as a nurse, it was the most exciting yet stressful experience. I slowly transitioned to working with adults to juveniles and eventually to the children’s hospital. I realized I needed a change in career and went back to school to try something new. I shortly found my niche in Human Resources and thoroughly enjoy my career.

IF YOU HAD TO WATCH ONE SPORT FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

Since moving to Colorado, I have found an interest in Ice Hockey. It is high energy and keeps me engaged the entire game.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE OUTDOOR ACTIVITY?

Right now I am enjoying paddle boarding. I still have a lot to learn, but it has been so much fun to get out on the water every chance I get.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO IN YOUR SPARE TIME?

I enjoy exploring and trying new things. Right now, I am determined to learn how to ice skate. It has been such a fun experience and making new friends along the way. My kids have enjoyed racing me and winning, I hear about it for days!
